Wellness figures are suppressed for any group under five members. Leadership never sees a
journal, a message, a peer conversation, or any individual's scores — that guarantee is
structural, not a setting.

Workload and wellbeing, week by week
Hover a week to compare everything at once
Read top to bottom: when the share of Serious / Critical calls climbs, watch the stress and
fatigue rows in the same weeks. Gaps are the privacy floor working — a week with fewer than
5 people checking in reports nothing.
Any journal, reflection or message · the content of any peer conversation · any one
person's stress, fatigue or mood · who asked for help or which call it was. Every wellbeing number is an
aggregate of at least 5 people, and nothing here may be used for
discipline, promotion, assignment or fitness-for-duty — that is written into your agreement.
Post-call stress
weekly average · 1–10
The shaded band is the high-stress zone (7–10); the dashed line is the average for the
whole window. A single week above the line is a busy week — three in a row is a pattern.
Fatigue
weekly average · Samn-Perelli 1–7
The scale used in aviation and EMS fatigue research: 1 fully alert · 4 a little tired ·
5 moderately tired · 7 completely exhausted. The shaded band (5–7) is the level fatigue research treats as a
safety risk. Asked on post-call and daily check-ins (app 1.3.0 and later).
How check-ins landed

Check-in rate
share of logged calls with a voluntary check-in
Falling check-in rates usually come before falling wellbeing — it means people stopped telling
you. It is the first number to watch after a hard stretch.
Journaling

Participation is the health of the habit. Every score on this page only means something
while this stays high.
How suppression protects your people
Every wellbeing number on this page is an aggregate over at least
5 contributing members — per window, per week, and per
station. Below that floor the number is withheld entirely, so a small group can never be
reverse-read. Adoption runs on trust; this is what keeps it.

Stations to check in on
Station-level only: a station shows here when, over the last
14 days, it has run well above your agency's normal share of Serious / Critical calls, its average
post-call stress is a full point above normal, or its members have had repeated heavy-run peer alerts.
It never says who, which call, or anything anyone wrote — and stations under
5 members are never flagged. Marking a station checked in quiets it for 7 days.

Status
Color shows how far a station sits from your agency-wide number — the number in the cell is
the station's own. Wellbeing cells are withheld for any station under 5 members or
contributors, and the 14-day signals for any station under 5 members. Peer alerts are
counts of check-ins routed to your peer team — never who. Assign stations on the Roster tab.
CriticalNo peer supporters assigned
Alerts are being raised but there is nobody to route them to. Mark trained peer supporters
on the Roster tab — until then members' check-in requests reach no one.
The alert loop
every peer alert in the window
A flag opens when a member marks a call high-impact, has a heavy run
(4+ Serious or Critical calls, or 3+ Critical, within 24 hours), or taps
“Ask for a check-in”. Your peer supporters get a signal-only ping — never the call, never the content. It is
picked up when a supporter reaches out, and followed up when that conversation is done.

How fast alerts get picked up
Why alerts opened
“Asked for a check-in” is the healthiest number on this page: it means members trust the
door enough to knock.
Alerts and conversations by week
Peer team capacity
Counts only — never who, never a word of any conversation. A healthy anonymous share means
people trust the door; conversations per supporter tells you when to grow the team.

Peer supporters receive high-impact flags so someone can check in. The owner seat is managed by AfterCall.

Your crisis resources in the app
These render in every member's app — in the agency workspace and the crisis support screen —
above the national resources. The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline always shows and can never be removed or replaced.

Workspace & channels
Channels are private feeds inside your workspace — stations, shifts, committees, peer team
coordination. Members see them in the app under Communities. Deleting a channel deletes its posts.
Create a channel
Members of the channel can open a private,
optionally anonymous conversation with its peer supporters.

Dashboard access
Everyone who opens this dashboard signs in with
their own AfterCall account and a code sent to their email — there is no shared key. Owners and admins on the
roster have access automatically. Invite anyone else (a chief, a wellness coordinator) by email: they create
their own password and the account is linked to your agency the first time they sign in.

Peer alert rules
Besides a member marking a call high-impact or asking for a check-in, AfterCall can alert your peer
supporters automatically when one member has a heavy run of high-acuity calls. Set what a heavy run
means for your agency. Supporters learn only that someone had a heavy stretch — never the calls, never
anything they wrote — and you only ever see the count.
The agreement, in one card
Wellness reporting is aggregate-only on every plan · groups under five are suppressed · alerts carry the
signal, never the content · a member who leaves keeps their own history · members can leave the workspace at
any time · nothing in AfterCall may be used in discipline, promotion, assignment, or fitness-for-duty.
