AfterCall 1.3 is out today, and it’s the biggest update we’ve shipped. It brings a new way to see how the job is affecting you, smarter guided reflections, a redesigned app, and more privacy protection built in from the moment you start typing.
Your journal has grown into something bigger. Wellness brings your check-ins, wellness insights and reflections together in one place, with a new wellness chart that shows how you’re trending over time. Insights are now more accurate and more specific to you: AfterCall notices the patterns in your journal and helps you understand what you’re feeling, and why.
Fatigue is part of the job. You can now log how alert you feel with a quick tap after a call and in your daily check-in, so it becomes part of the bigger picture.
We expanded the question base for guided reflections, with more questions, better prompts and more accurate quick responses. You can now pick what kind of questions you want to focus on, and choose from your recent calls instead of starting from scratch.

My Calls, Skills and the screen you see after saving a call have all been redesigned, and the Wellness widgets have been refreshed.
AfterCall Teams has a brand new peer support page, where peer supporters can see the queue and proactively check in with the providers who need it.
Providers connected to an agency will now see peer support prompts in the app, so it’s easy to reach out to real people to talk to. And after a hard call, you can ask a peer supporter to check in with a single tap.
Names, addresses and other patient details are now caught on your phone before you save. If you paste a CAD dispatch, it’s cleaned on your phone before AfterCall AI ever sees it. And two-step sign-in keeps your account yours.
We’ve updated our Terms and Privacy Policy. They include a new, optional way to help EMS research. It’s your choice.
