AfterCall Teams · For EMS agencies

Your peer team,
in every pocket.

Your peer supporters, your crisis line and your agency's own space, inside the app your crews already open after every call.

The engagement problem

You don't need another wellness resource. You need one your crews will actually open.

Almost every agency already offers something. Almost nobody uses it because traditional support asks a provider to recognize they're struggling, raise their hand, and ask. AfterCall meets them earlier.

The habit is the door

Logging the call builds the habit.
The habit opens the door.

Providers open AfterCall for themselves: to log their calls, track their skills and keep their certs current. Because they're already in the app after every run, and already journaling, the peer support your agency has in place is one tap from something they do anyway.

My Calls: logged calls with acuity and skills
1

Log the call

Two minutes at the end of a run. Log it in 8 steps, typed, spoken, or pasted from CAD, and get a plain-language summary.

Guided Reflection journal prompt
2

Check in and reflect

A voluntary post-call check-in on how the call landed, and a private journal for the ones that stay with you.

Provider dashboard: your peer support team knows and someone will check in
3

Reach your peer team

If the call warrants it, your trained peer supporters are already on the screen, reachable anonymously if a provider would rather.

Nothing changes about running the call. This is a journal, not a chart: no ePCR integration, no patient identifiers, PHI screening on every share.

What your crews get

Your support, inside
the app they already use.

A private agency workspace

An invite-only room for your roster: station channels, de-identified call sharing behind a five-layer PHI screen, and crew messaging the agency never sees.

Your peer supporters, by name

Your trained peer support team in every pocket, with availability, reachable anonymously if a provider would rather. Not our helpline. Yours.

Your crisis line, one tap

Your number and after-hours routing sit in the app, beside the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, present on every plan and never replaced.

The full paid product, per seat

On Teams Pro every seat gets everything an individual subscriber gets: AfterCall AI, voice and CAD logging, PDF export and the 12-month heatmap, automatically, with no store purchase.

Theirs when they leave

A member who leaves keeps their entire history: calls, journals, shifts, badges. The seat ends; their account stays theirs.

For your peer support team

Your peer team knows who needs a check-in.
Never what they wrote.

A flag opens when a member marks a call high-impact, has a heavy run (4+ Serious or Critical calls, or 3+ Critical, within 24 hours), or taps "Ask for a check-in" after a rough call. Your peer supporters get a signal-only ping: who and why, never the call, never the content.

When a call is flagged high-impact
Peer supporterThe flag routes to your designated peer supporters so someone can check in.
SupervisorThat a flag exists. Never its content, never the journal.
LeadershipThe count and the trend. Never the person.
EscalationFollows your own critical incident policy, configured at onboarding. Not one we impose.

What leadership sees

Your crews have always carried the signals.
Now you can see the patterns.

Every chart ships in the leadership dashboard today, generated by people doing their job: no survey to send, no response rate to chase. Aggregate-only on every plan; any group under five members is suppressed automatically.

aftercallapp.com/teams-dashboard · Workload
Workload tab: calls logged, serious or critical share, busiest day, overnight calls, calls per week by acuity, and when calls happen

Workload. What your people are actually running: acuity mix, busiest days, and when calls happen.

aftercallapp.com/teams-dashboard · Stations
Stations tab: stations to check in on and a station comparison table

Stations. Which station to check in on, compared against your agency's normal. Stations under 5 members are never flagged.

Leadership also gets full self-serve controls: roster and roles, peer supporter assignments, station groupings, crisis resources that update in every member's app instantly, private channels, join-code management, and billing.

The part we will not negotiate

If your crews don't trust it,
none of the rest happens.

Adoption is the whole product, and adoption runs on trust. Every guarantee below is written into the agreement, not the brochure, and enforced in the database, not in policy.

The agency never sees

  • Any individual journal entry or reflection
  • The content of any peer support conversation
  • Direct messages between crew members
  • Any one person's wellness, stress, or sleep score
  • Who opened a peer support request

What is always true

  • Wellness reporting is aggregate-only, on every plan
  • Groups under five members are suppressed
  • Alerts carry the signal, never the content
  • A member who leaves keeps their own history
  • Members can leave the workspace at any time

AfterCall is not an ePCR and not a patient record system. It does not write into ESO, ImageTrend, or Zoll, and no patient identifier is retained: every share passes a five-layer PHI screen with a signed attestation. Nothing in AfterCall may be used in discipline, promotion, assignment, or a fitness-for-duty determination; we will sign that alongside your labor group. AfterCall is designed to keep PHI out and therefore a BAA is not currently necessary; SOC 2 Type II is on the roadmap and not in place today. We'd rather tell you exactly where each item stands than imply otherwise.

Our story

Built by a provider who needed it.

"I've cleared brutal calls, driven back to quarters in silence, and had nothing waiting for me on the other side. AfterCall is what I wished existed when I needed it most."

FAQ

Your questions, answered.

Does AfterCall replace our peer support team or EAP?

No. It makes them easier to reach. Your peer supporters, crisis line and EAP live right inside the app.

Why would providers actually use it?

Because they open it for themselves first: to log calls, track skills and keep certifications current. That habit is what puts your peer support one tap away after a hard call.

What does leadership actually see?

Anonymous team trends only. Groups under five are hidden automatically. You never see the person, the journal or the conversation.

Does it integrate with our ePCR?

No. AfterCall doesn't write into ESO, ImageTrend or Zoll, and no patient identifier is retained.

What does it cost?

Teams Essentials is $4.99 per seat per month and Teams Pro is $7.99 per seat per month. Larger agencies get Enterprise pricing tailored to their size.

Can we use grant money?

Many agencies can. Wellness programs qualify under FEMA AFG and several state and private grants.

Can AfterCall be used in discipline?

Never. Nothing in AfterCall may be used in discipline, promotion, assignment or fitness-for-duty decisions, and we'll put that in writing alongside your labor group.

What happens when a provider leaves the agency?

They keep their entire history: calls, journals, shifts and badges. The seat ends; their account stays theirs.
